I started off at Rollingsushivan and picked up a tuna hand roll and a secret menu item, the poke tuna served in a cute champagne cup.
While waiting, I picked up a refreshing Mango Aloe Vera limeaid from the Lime Truck.
Meanwhile, Martin went to Piaggioonwheels and ordered off the menu: the tilapia steamed in foil with basil and zucchini.
For dessert, Martin got the Blueberry Cream Puff from Morsels Bakery truck, and I got the POG, Passionfruit, Orange, Guava from Tropical Shave Ice.

Since it was a soft opening, I was not sure if the menu was set or, like many new trucks, will change in the weeks to come.
We ordered the Hawaiian Steak Flatbread, theHerb Turkey panini, and the Sunburst Chicken slider. While waiting for our food, we sampled the Carne Asada panini and the POG juice.

Tonight I went to Rolling sushi van and ordered the U Don, but forgot to take a photo. Chef Chris made another wonderful “secret menu” Salmon Cheek, which was worth the wait.
For dessert, we went to Morsels Bakery Truck where Martin picked up the fresh Raspberry Cream Puff, and Karen & I ordered the Banana Cream dessert shot.

My sister Becky is my weekly guest blogger, reporting on food trucks from the Teller & Michelson lunch lot in Irvine, CA.
There’s a reason why you have to wait in line if you want to eat at The Lime Truck on Wednesdays.
Every week, they’re always thinking outside of the box with innovative items to tantalize our taste buds. The chicken marsala taco (chicken with tomatoes and mushrooms) was a creative take on an Italian dish we all know and love. There was also New England gnocchi, a unique fusion of New England style clam chowder with Italian gnocchi. Brilliant!
In contrast, if you aren’t feeling adventurous, you can’t get any more tried and true than Barcelona on the Go’s top sirloin tacos: Two tacos topped with fresh corn salsa. Comforting and delicious!
