What to Expect…
– Over 10 thousand guest from all over come to visit the beautiful, historic Uptown Whittier for the annual Dia de Los Muertos Art & Music Festival
-The festival takes place between Greenleaf and Philadelphia St.
-A parking structure for guest to park can be found on Bright Ave.
-Artist Vendors are featured throughout the festival where one of a kind pieces can be purchased
-Altar Contest, where individuals are welcome to participate by creating an altar in memory of a loved one for a cash prize. (applications are found at Casita del Puebo or through email)
-Catrina Contest, hosted by the beautiful Lisa Love and Ruby Champagne (applications and details available online and through Facebook)
-Tribute Car Show, where classic cars are showcased with small altar-like displays in the remembering of loved ones who have passed on
