Irvine: Dos Chinos, Flip Truck

My sister Becky is helping me out by being my weekly guest blogger for the Teller lot on Wednesdays and she volunteered to provide a weekly report.

Even though it was supposed to rain, today was a beautiful, sunny day to eat lunch at the Teller lot.

Today’s guest trucks were Flip truck, Burnt truck, Rancho A Go Go, and Morsel’s Bakery Truck. I’m still not entirely sure who is sponsoring the beautiful picnic tables that line the back, but people were definitely enjoying the fact that they were there.

After spending the last two weeks eating in Italy, I was looking forward to eating at my favorite taco truck, Dos Chinos. The bbq pork and asada taco didn’t disappoint and satisfied both my Asian craving and Mexican cravings that I had at the same time!

My co-worker got the “Killer Combo” at Flip truck: a choice of 2 sliders (Ahi and American Kobe  pictured), a side of fries and a small cupcake.

Los Alamitos: The Lime Truck, Tropical Shave Ice

If it’s Tuesday, it’s Los Alamitos Din Din a Go Go at 11081 Winners Circle.

Tonight the Lime Truck was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Corned Beef Hash on mustard grain cabbage. I ordered that, and the “Nice Little Salad” with Fried chicken, and the Lychee Limeaid to drink.

Martin got the Ahi Tuna Poke, Spicy Hanger Steak Taco, and (off the menu) the  Shishito Blistered Peppers.

For dessert…. Tropical Shave Ice!

Pulled pork sliders from Rancho a GoGo
Banana cream puff from Morsels
Dirty Rice from Swinging Kitchen
Tilapia taco from Piaggion on Wheels

Another beautiful day in Southern California, and a reason to find a food truck. Today we went to SoCo in Costa Mesa for brunch.

Martin went to Swinging Kitchen and ordered the Dirty Rice with steak, and a Tilapia taco from Piaggio on wheels.

I went to Rancho a Go Go for the Pork Sliders with slaw, and a Banana Cream Puff for dessert at Morsels Bakery Truck.

#OCTruxStarS at JStarMotors in Anaheim?? (not confirmed)

now called the OCTruxStarS event (a play on host, JStar Motors).
This location will be hosted by @Baconmania.
I was not able to get a flyer of the latest lineup.
Rollingsushivan was the only one who had this on their schedule. Please check with various trucks to make sure someone will be there.
