On Saturday, November 12th, 2016, New Vista will be hosting our Brew’s Best Beer Festival at Sunset Park in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 4th annual Sunset Park’d Food Truck Festival!

Brew’s Best Beer Festival is the longest running open-air beer festival in the area, started in June of 2007. Guests receive a tasting mug and enjoy the samplings from breweries both local and across the United States, all while supporting a great cause!

GA (3-7pm): $30 ($35 day of)

VIP (1-7pm): $45 ($50 day of)

Nov 12: LA Beer Festival

The LA Fall Beer Festival will feature over 200 beers, food trucks, dj, live music, and more surprises. The event will take place at LA Center Studios from Noon to 4pm. Admission is $45 for general admission (1pm to 4pm), $55 for VIP (an added hour with specialty beers available the first hour (noon to 4pm)), and $80 for for the Connoisseur’s Ticket (noon to 4pm), which includes exclusive air conditioned bathrooms and an indoor/outdoor event deck overlooking the event featuring limited beers/one-offs not available to general admission..  All ticket levels include beer with food sold separately.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The LA Beer Festival’s proceeds will benefit Noah’s B-ark, Inc (tax ID 95-4677862) whose aim is to rescue dogs from shelters and find permanent homes for rescued pets.  Proceeds from the event will towards funding food, shelter, and veterinary bills for rescued pets.

This will be a fun filled day of delicious halal food trucks and vendors from throughout Southern California, a carnival for children, a shopping bazaar for grownups, and an entertainment program! Admission is FREE.

BBQ, Arabic, Afghan, Italian, Indian, Pakistani, Mexican, American Hamburgers, Asian And Much More!

Parking:
Free parking at Bolsa Grande High School with shuttle rides to/from the Food Festival will be provided.

Caribbean Theme at First Friday!

Event Description

We are developing a Caribbean Village during Westchester First Fridays and welcome impromptu music, art, dance, carnival arts, spoken word and story telling participation.

This week the folk ensemble Hummingbird Village will hold an informal rehearsal of Caribbean folk songs, during the usual carnival arts workshops.  Come enjoy gourmet foods from around the world courtesy of a variety of food trucks who are always present.

You’ll love the cool vibes at Westchester First Fridays and get a little taste of the Caribbean while you’re there! Music, food, art and good company…mostly free (EXCEPT FOR THE FOOD). What more can you ask? Hope to see you there!

What: Taste of Brews celebrates its 6th anniversary as Long Beach’s original and authentic craft beer festival on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Lighthouse Park. The event infuses more than 100 styles of microbrews and hard ciders and SoCal’s premier mobile restaurants with an amazing ocean-front venue. This incredible tasting experience is expected to sell-out online and offer limited tickets at the gate so don’t wait too long to purchase your package of choice.

Venue: Shoreline Aquatic Park (AKA Lighthouse Park) located at 200 Aquarium Way in Long Beach.

Date: Saturday, August 20, 2016

Time: Noon to 5pm (alcohol service ends at 4pm)

Who: Taste of Brews Long Beach features an amazing mix of craft breweries and hard ciders ranging from popular and well-known brands like Ace, Stone, Karl Strauss, Sam Adams and Firestone to startups and newer breweries like Four Sons and Venice Duck and everything in between. Area breweries participating include Rock Bottom, Beachwood, Belmont, El Segundo and San Pedro. The booming growth of craft beer in the Inland Empire (and ongoing success of the Taste of Brews IE event) is luring several breweries from East of Los Angeles like Hangar 24, Wicks, Craft Brewing and Sons of Liberty.

Food: A variety of gourmet food trucks offering meals and snacks for purchase.

Tickets: “Early Bird” bird pricing for the 4-hour session (noon to 4pm) starts at $40 and $30 for the 3-hour session (1pm to 4pm) and includes beer tastes, snack samples (while supplies last), plenty of drinking water and live entertainment.

Charity Partners: Proceeds benefit the Long Beach Marine Institute, a 501(C)3 non-profit and Camp Pendleton’s 1st Marine Division.

Parking: Available at the Pike Parking structure for an additional fee.

Music: All attendees will be treated to live musical entertainment.

Age: All attendees must be age 21 or above—ID’s will be checked
