Offering a quintessential LA outdoor experience for the whole family to enjoy with a picnic and live music, this is also a very dog-friendly movie-viewing environment, welcoming every dog with a free biscuit at the door. Locals and visitors alike will watch classic comedies and contemporary movie favorites on the largest outdoor movie screen on the West Coast, dine on gourmet food truck fare and listen to emerging bands from the local Los Angeles music scene

 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS/NOTES:

   Opening Night, May 9th, all attendees will have a chance to win two tickets to the red carpet premiere of “Pitch Perfect 2” plus other giveaways, including t-shirts and cups, courtesy of Universal Pictures.
   May 9th attendees will not only have a chance to walk the red carpet, but will also be entered to win a round-trip flight for two to Australia, courtesy of Air New Zealand.

Join us for an outdoor movie experience under the stars. Grab your beach chair, blanket and snacks for a night out with the family. Come see blockbuster hits and family favorites on the big screen at our Movie on the Lawn nights!

This year’s Movie on the Lawn series will feature seven film screenings beginning Saturday, May 31 and continue through July 12. Flashback Fridays will take you on a stroll through memory lane with a lineup of great nostalgic favorites, while Family Favorites on Saturdays will showcase blockbuster hits.

NEW! This year, Great Park visitors can vote for the movie title of their choice to be shown on June 28. Check out the Orange County Great Park Facebook page to vote.
All movies will be shown on the Terraced Lawn at dusk. Admission is free and is weather permitting.

Of course the four Downtown Disney food trucks, along with the ESPN food truck, will be there – Namaste Café with favorites plus some new flavors from Disney’s Animal Kingdom – think butter chicken and tandoor shrimp; Superstar Catering with favorites from Disney’s Hollywood Studios like Margherita flat bread; Fantasy Fare with Magic Kingdom Park goodies like the corn dog and sticky chicken n’ waffles; and World Showcase of Flavors with Epcot tastes from pierogies to grass-fed beef sliders.

A live DJ will create a convivial atmosphere that’s fun for all ages at the event that will be at Downtown Disney West Side on the event lawn near House of Blues and Cirque du Soleil. Best parking is lots O, P and Q behind Cirque due Soleil, via entrance 5. And, sorry, no pets allowed.

Downtown Disney plans to open a permanent food truck park later this summer between Bongos Cuban Café and the new Starbucks at Downtown Disney West Side. Details soon!
