Oct 25-26: Los Angeles: Halloween Food Fest

Saturday: 2pm-Midnight
Sunday: Noon to 9:00 pm
Seoul Sausage, season 3 winners of Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race,” will curate the food truck lineup at Halloween Food Fest this weekend from October 25-26 presented by the KTOWN Night Market.
Only 13 were selected based on their reputation and food-quality. TV-featured trucks like Fluff Ice (Shaved Ice), White Rabbit (Filipino Fusion), & The Grilled Cheese Truck will serve their famous plates & desserts at the event. The newly popularized Chicken & Rice L.A. is also on the roster with the nationally acclaimed Halal dish, bringing the New York staple to the heart of Koreatown.  While the Halloween Food Fest will have a diverse assortment of street-food, featuring everything from Filipino fusion to New American gourmet, the event organizers have also placed a special focus on the local Korean cuisine for the upcoming event.
Local establishments like Kong Ji Ne, Ham Ji Park, BBQ Chicken, and Gong Gu San will dish out some of the neighborhood’s signature plates, and food trucks like Belly Bombz & Calbi will also serve Korean-inspired dishes with a novel Los Angeles flair.  Seoul Sausage themselves will be serving up their signature Korean-inspired dishes that made them one of the most recognizable food trucks in the nation, including their deep-fried “flaming” kimchi fried-rice balls and Korean-inspired spicy pork & galbi sausages.
“We really want this to be about Koreatown and the food that has made this area so popular recently,” stated founder and organizer Danny Park. “We’re still going to have tons of food from other cultures, but we really want to highlight Korean dishes this time around to show how much Koreatown has developed.
Other L.A. eateries like Jinya Ramen, Sticky Rice, Ubatuba Acai, Ramen Burger, and Pho Burger will also be present, showcasing their signatures at the event.
