East coast launching online ordering at the GFTS

Details coming soon!

What the Trucks is a mobile and online food ordering solution that gives users an intuitive experience to find and order from food trucks near them. Orders are sent directly to your truck’s mobile point-of-sale (POS) or on-board printer. This allows customers to place orders ahead of time and enjoy an “express checkout” experience, which is a significant advantage in cold or rainy weather. In addition, this app makes it possible to increase awareness of food trucks within the local community by facilitating marketing efforts such as coupon distribution, social media campaigns, food truck event promotions and more.

General Information

Granada Hills keeps food truck gatherings safe!

Granada Grubfest brings out thousands of people every Friday night. So, the city of  LA  installed a Beacon Light to help protect the public. Granada Hills, is LA City’s template on how the Food Truck gatherings should be run properly.

Here’s the video of the beacon light being installed and dedicated at the intersection of Yarmouth St. & Chatsworth St. CD 12 Councilman Mitch Englander along with DOT and Ross A. Turmell from GHSNC, quickly got this project in place for our public safety.
Thousands of people gather In the heart of GH business district on Friday night to enjoy the Granada Grubfest and this beacon will help the public in crossing the street safely. Mary Turner hosts the video. Safety First in Granada Hills!

WHAT: Bacon Bacon Truck
WHY GO: The absolute highlight is the bouquet of bacon served in parchment paper (see below). Pure bacon bliss. Some of the other top hits include a grilled cheese with bacon jam and bacon fried chicken. Need I say more?

WHEN AND WHERE  TO GO: Though I caught up with it at the Soma StrEat Food Park beware, because the truck moves around each day! To catch it check their online  schedule
I HEARD: Owner Jim Angelus is really tight with his famous cousin — Robert Downey Jr.
