The Northern Trust Open, one of the longest-running events on the PGA TOUR, will include a variety of expanded elements, creating the complete LA entertainment experience.  Taking place Feb. 18-22 at The Riviera Country Club, the Northern Trust Open is offering attendees #MoreThanGolf with food trucks, such as The Grilled Cheese Truck, Border Grill, Baby’s Badass Burgers, Jogasaki Burrito, Wise Barbeque and Cousins Maine Lobster.

 
New VIP lounge, The Green Room, offers dramatic views of the historic Riviera Country Club surrounded by eucalyptus trees and the best seat in the house for the O.A.R. concert on Saturday afternoon, as the venue is transformed into a backstage setting.
 
 
Wednesday, Feb. 11
  • 1:30 p.m. PT – Northern Trust Open Media Day at City of Hope (1500 Duarte Rd., Duarte, CA)
o   Defending Champion Bubba Watson will host a “Grilled Cheese Cook-Off” with patients at the City of Hope (official charity of the tournament). Assisted by the chef of the Grilled Cheese Truck, three patients will compete to create the best grilled cheese. Whichever sandwich Bubba selects as the winner will be dubbed the “Bubba Melt” and sold during the tournament, with $1 from each benefitting City of Hope. Lunch will be served
 
Tuesday, Feb. 17
  • 11 a.m. PT – Operation Shower at The Riviera Country Club, Grand Ballroom
    • Model and actress Molly Sims hosts 40 military moms-to-be from Point Mugu for the baby shower of a lifetime. Operation Shower is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide joyful baby showers for military families to ease the stresses of deployment
  • 6 p.m. PT – The Green Room Welcome Party at TasteMade Warehouse in Santa Monica (corner of Olympic and Nebraska)
    • VIP tournament kick-off party featuring live music from Kelley James and food from Fill R Up and the Prince & Pantry, along with desserts from the Gourmandise School
 
Thursday, Feb. 19 & Friday, Feb. 20
·         6:40 a.m.-4 p.m. (approximately) – First two rounds of the tournament with players trying to make the cut
o   VIP lounge, The Green Room, featuring Baby Blues BBQ on Thursday and The Roost at LA Farm on Friday
 
Saturday, Feb. 21
·         8 a.m. PT (approximately) – Third round of play following Friday’s cut
o   VIP lounge, The Green Room, featuring Fill R Up Gastro Garage

TASTE OF BREWS INLAND EMPIRE CELEBRATES 4TH ANNIVERSARY ON 4/18/15

Taste of Brews is returning to the Inland Empire for its fourth anniversary celebration on April 18, 2015.  Held at Crossroads Riverview Park in Corona/Eastvale, the festival showcases more than three dozen craft breweries, gourmet food trucks, a mix of vendors and live musical entertainment.  The event is limited to ages 21 and above.

Time: Noon to 5pm (alcohol service ends at 4pm)
Tickets: “Early Bird” bird pricing for the 4-hour session (noon to 4pm) starts at $35 and $25 for the 3-hour session (1pm to 4pm) and includes beer tastes, snack samples (while supplies last), plenty of drinking water and live entertainment.  Prices will go up in February!  Designated Driver tickets are available at the gate for $20.

Description: Taste of Brews has evolved into a massive celebration of the Inland Empire’s ever-growing and influential craft beer industry.  The unusual venue, home to the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival, adds a layer of excitement and intrigue with its eclectic buildings, statues, shops and assorted pathways, many of which host a “sampling” station.
While the IE is well-represented with standouts like Packinghouse, IE Brewing and Heroes (Riverside), Brew Rebellion (Yucaipa), Sons of Liberty (Norco), Wiens, Black Market & Refuge Brewery (Temecula), Hangar 24 (Redlands) and Craft Brewing Company (Lake Elsinore), a number or popular regional and national breweries are tucked amid the park’s nooks and crannies.  Attendees can sample from an extensive roster that features Sam Adams, Stone, Sierra Nevada, Karl Strauss, Firestone, Fireman’s, Lagunitas and Ace Hard Cider among others.
